HORRORGRAPHY – SEASON OF GRIEF – SATANATH
The only horror and grief in this album is the band’s output. This is just asinine. A Greece-based ensemble, Horrorgraphy delivers a rather tepid and boring K&F that is neither powerful nor metal. Isolating the guitars or the synthesizers into one channel reveals even more how elementary and dull the material is. The soprano female vocals are anemic and not likable. Between the aforementioned elements, the drum machines and generally uninteresting compositions this season is one to forget, but it gets worse. The album ends with yet another cover version. If pushed to state a name the band may appeal to then fans of Notre Dame may take a chance on this, but both metal and quality fans should not bother. – Ali “The Metallian”
