History & Biography Street Symphonies Records and Burning Minds Music Group announced the signing of hard rockers Hot Rod, for the release of a debut album, in 2025. Hot Rod was an Italian glam metal band formed in 2006. The album was issued in March of 2026.

After listening to this album half a dozen times it hit this girl that the Hot Rod guys and gals might be the most honest people you'd meet. Everything they say, write and title is right.
The band is secretive, but not dishonest or boring. There is next to no information on them in their bio here, but it matters not. Harder Faster Glitter is everything a glam metal fan wants including a long haired guitarist called Mirko who looks kinda desirable. Then there is the energy, the tempo and a modern production that never forgets what hard rock and glam metal are meant to be. It is outright cool that this album is catchy, heavy, loud, fun and has guitars everywhere! The guitar playing is melodic and fluid except where it needs not to be and speeds up accordingly. So read on fans of Bulletboys, Ratt, Britney Fox, Vain, hard rock and heavy metal.
Quiet Riot showed up in a Black Cadillac to entertain us, but Hot Rod has the Pink Cadillac and it flies in space (or at least flies on the glittery road to pink smoke!). Shot Of Love has an AOR mix of Triumph and Bon Jovi. The tune could easily be on the radio. Clandestine is not a ballad, but has a commercial and melodic vibe - marvellous solos. Turning Blue is not what you think (bluesy or slow), but it's an exception because from the gang's name to the album's name and song titles like Rock The House and Bullet Speed this band tells it to you for real. But what's this? The song Wasted is censored? Don't know what the beeped out word was, but the song leaves "fucking" untouched later. What a HeadbanGirl is this girl can't tell, but the song ends with a hell of a banshee scream. Jenny is weaker and a filler even though it ends up being not half bad after all. Sorry, Jenny. Rock The House rocks and Bullet Speed is faster than a bullet and exceed regular glam metal speed limits. The drums are not real and the cymbals are on a loop, but everything else is a go and set to 10. But, wow does Harder Faster Glitter begin and end so well.
