History & Biography More than a decade following the release of a debut, Italian/German death metallers Humator announced a follow-up in 2021. The band signed to Time To Kill Records in 2021 and an album was due in the autumn. Originally founded in Sicily by drummer Piero Geloso and guitarist Ray Caltagirone as Cadaver Mutilator in 2003, the band began playing shows and opening for acts like Suffocation. The band released the Anger Castles demo in March 2008 (the band was Humator now so the demo was issued by two monickers), which was followed by the full-length Memories From The Abyss a year later, a concept record based on the holocaust of WWII. Shortly after the release of the album and in 2010, the act moved to Germany and began the songwriting process for a new album with new guitarist Antonino Durante while performing live as much as possible, sharing the stage with bands such as Antropofagus, Screwed Death, Moronic, Debauchery, Devangelic and other local acts. Singer Peppe Vitale left in 2012. Singer Peppe Di Lorenzo joined. Singer NecroPhil joined in 2018. Michael Bach (vocals) and Simon Moch (bass) joined the band in 2018. More than a decade following the release of its debut, Italian/German death metallers Humator was working on a follow-up in 2021.
