History & Biography
The thrash metal group was founded in 2018 and issued a demo called Fish Creek Frenzy in 2019. In traditional metal scene fashion the exodus of musicians and coming and going started. Also per newer commercial traditions the band paired up with a brewer for its own beer and repeated it in 2023. Sliptrick was distributing the debut full-length. Talk of a European tour was squashed by the pandemic. The act moved from Calgary to Vancouver. Silhouettes Of Horror was a 2022 demo. Hyperia’s 2023 demo, The Serpent’s Cycle, was being re-issued through Sliptrick Records. Marlee Ryley contributed vocals to Triskelyon’s self-titled demo.

The Ryleys are married. The band’s monicker combines ‘hyper’ and ‘hysteria.’
