History & Biography
Beghelli founded the heavy metal act in Bologna in 2015. Italy-based heavy metal band Hyperion had a second album called Into The Maelstrom, which, like the debut, was to be released through Fighter Records. It was available on 21.04.2020. With the departure of a guitarist and its bassist the band recruited bassist Simone Cauli and guitarist Francis Dipasquale in 2022. There was a solitary concert in 2023. Singer Michelangelo Carano departed in 2023.

Heavy metal band Hyperion had an album called Cybergenesis in early 2026. It was scheduled through Fighter Records for January of 2026. It featured a revamped line-up. Only guitarist Davide Cotti was left from the early line-up.

The Hyperion Cantos books by Dan Simmons inspired the band’s monicker. The band's name and monicker are stylized as HyperioN.
