History & Biography I Am The Trireme, the metalcore band became Iatt (an acronym) over time and also incorporated more metal and progressive elements. Jay and Alec were the founders. They had met through Craigslist. Viatica was the 2009 demo. Guitarist Joe joined in 2010. Drummer Paul Joined in 2012. Unholy Divination and Pray For Damnation were the follow-up demos for the act. The band professed to the occult, but had corporate social media accounts and kept its 'Insta' updated. Unholy was an EP through Dark Harvest Records in 2013. This led to the debut full-length, Gnosis: Never Follow The Light. Jay, who handled the mike, also took over the bass. The act also has synthesisers. The 2018 demo was named St. Vitus Dance. Black Lion Records released Nomenclature in 2019. Pennsylvania, USA-based act IATT re-signed with the Swedish label Black Lion Records in 2025. New music was due soon. In the meantime, the band and Visitant were gigging.
