History & Biography
The group was founded as Liam’s solo project in 2020, but he found his former Decapitated Mum band-mates were as bored as he was during the pandemic and the ensemble was created. The Australia-based newcomers had a self-titled demo in December 2020. The band established itself as part of the scene by having each member be in a dozen projects simultaneously and losing and gaining members regularly. The first to depart was singer and bassist Josh Dawson who was also from Decapitated Mum. Chalky of Fall Of The Divine stood in. Dylan Boyd was the next stand-in. Germany’s Boundless Chaos and Idle Ruin had a split release.

Idle Ruin’s The Fell Tyrant was released by Bitter Loss Records in mid-2023. The deathrashers had named their album after their hometown of Brisbane when it was a prison settlement. Bitter Loss bit the dust that summer.
