History & Biography
The band came out in 2016 and claimed to black metal, but soon brandished a synthesiser on its recordings and on stage and established its folk and ethnic credentials. Robert Meliksetyan sang for a year before passing the microphone to Narek Avedyan. Bassist Garbis Vizoian left in 2019. A 2018 demo was named Towards Subterranean Realms. The group opened for Harakiri For The Sky and Hexis locally in 2023. Ildaruni was billed at Psychosound Fest in Romania in 2024.

Armenia-based black metal band Ildaruni released its new full-length, Divinum Sanguinem, through Black Lion Records on 07.11.2025.

Ildaruni was the ancient name for the second largest river that flows through Armenia.
