History & Biography
Not to be confused with the short-lived Australian-based band with the same name that existed at the same time, this black metal solo Ill Omen was founded in 2006 and immediately issued a demo, The Ill Omen, Black Esoterica, Adverse Order and Spear Of Salvation demos followed. Mitchell issued the group’s debut on his own imprint in 2011. A 2013 EP was called Remnant Spheres Of Spiritual Equilibrium. Another one, called Radiant Behest Of Excessum, followed. Nuclear War Now reissued the band’s EP after picking up the next full-length. The Grande Usurper 12″ MLP/MCD was out through Iron Bonehead in mid-2018. Rehearsal Necrolust was a 2019 EP and the band went the way of Jesus Christ.
