History & Biography
Immemoreal was a Sweden-based black metal group active between 1993 and 2005. Upon formation the band was a duo in January of 1993. Blash was one of the founders. The band was first heard through the Winterbreeze demo of 1995. LordHöfvding was on vocals and would depart. The act appeared on a compilation with a new song a year later. Under The Depths Of Hell appeared on the Voices Of Death compilation of the said label. The Age Nocturne demo appeared in 1998 and sported a new logo for the band. The April 1999 demo Towards 1347 was also distributed by Brazil’s Klozed Circle Produktionz. Krister Dreyer of Limbonic Art contributed an intro. The title referred to the year the black death plague arrived in Europe. It would eventually wipe out approximately a third of Norwegians.A song from the latest demo appeared on the Hymns To The Fallen III compilation of Blackend, an imprint of Plastic Head in the UK, which had signed the boys. Two members from Prophanity, which was also on Blackend, had joined.

The band recorded its one and only album in 2000 and had it released in 2001. Martin Qvist and Aho would depart before the end. Aho had grown tired of Immemoreal and founded Benighted.
