History & Biography
Immortal Bird’s Empress/Abscess LP was out in July of 2015. Former drummer and vocalist Amitay had swapped in her drum stool for a full-time position at the mike with long-time live drummer, Garry Naples (Novembers Doom) taking her place at the kit. The Chicago-based band was formed in 2013 and had issued a demo called Akrasia. Death To False Metal Festival, which was taking place at New Haven, Connecticut suburb of Hamden on August 14th and 15th featured many bands including Whiplash, Valkyrie, Imperial Triumphant, Krieg, Secrets Of The Sky, Immortal Bird, Godhunter, Secret Cutter, Nightbitch and more. Naples soon left. Chicago's Immortal Bird would have its first run of 2016 live shows commence on April 8th in Columbus, Ohio and conclude on April 20th in Lafayette, Indiana. The band was touring with Glacial Tomb in 2018. Matt Korajczyk was on drums. Live At Migration was a single upload culled from Migration Fest in 2018.

Immortal Bird and Witching were conducting a mini-tour of the USA in November 2021. Sin Querencia was slated for October 2024. Mother Of Graves and Immortal Bird shared an album release concert
