History & Biography
This California-based white metal band employed modern core elements beginning in October 2005 and called its music gorship. Singer Brook and guitarist Manny were founders. Sean Graw and Jon Alfaro were early bassists. The band was first heard through The Sin And Doom Of Godless Men demo of 2005. The Christian Facedown records signed the band and out came Nailed.Dead.Risen in 2007. Chad Blackwell arrived for the second album. Trahan and Johnson arrived for the third album and the band operated with only one guitarist. The band was on the Thrash And Burn tour with Kittie, Born Of Osiris and Asking Alexandria. Manny, who had spent time in The Devastated, was back in 2012. Job For A Cowboy was touring North America, using the Metal Alliance Tour 2012 monicker, with Devildriver, The Faceless, Dying Fetus, 3 Inches Of Blood, Impending Doom and Wretched.

The band disappeared between 2013 and 2016 and upon return its 2018 record nodded to its first demo. Trahan left in 2020 and was replaced by Andrew Holzbaur.

Impending Doom issued its Hellbent EP in advance of the announced January 2022 date in late 2021. The release was available through MNRK. The band had several USA shows with Bury Your Dead, Ov Sulfur and Foreign Pain in 2021 year and Oh, Sleeper and War Of Ages in 2022.

The history of the band and Oblige, The Devastated (the follow-up to Oblige) and xDeathstarx is intertwined. The band’s version of the pentagram is the Repentagram.
