History & Biography
New York City experimental black metal band, Imperial Triumphant, would release a new full-length called Abyssal Gods in March of 2015 through Italy’s Aural Music's Code666 imprint. It was taped at Solitude Studio in Pennsylvania and Amy Mills Studio (Couch Slut, Epistasis) in New York and mixed and mastered by Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice, Nader Sadek, Atheist, Origin, etc.) at Menegroth. The band was formed by Ilya in 2005 and issued the 2012 demo Abominamentvm and 2013 demo EP Goliath. Steve Blanco joined in 2015. Inceste was the name of a 2016 EP. The band switched to Century Media starting with Alphaville. An Evening With Imperial Triumphant was taped in New York City.

Voivod and Imperial Triumphant were touring the USA in May 2023. The band recorded another cover version and announced a European tour and a North American one with Behemoth and Midnight. Abbath announced the Dread Reaver North America 2024 tour with openers Imperial Triumphant, Black Anvil and Final Gasp for May. Simultaneously, Imperial Triumphant released a new version of 2018's Vile Luxury, which was remixed and remastered by longtime contributor Colin Marston. Imperial Triumphant, released a new single called Hotel Sphinx, with an accompanying video. It was taken from the upcoming full-length, Goldstar.

The band featured two drummers until Vile Luxury. The members are usually masked.
