History & Biography
The Brisbane, Australia-based band was founded in 2006 as a death metal entity. The band was described as the companion act to Portal soon. The bands shared members. Portal was also on Profound Lore.

The group completed work on its debut album, Relentless Execution Of Ceremonial Excrescence, which was issued by Profound Lore Records in December. It was supposed to be a 77-minute long album, but was not. Death metal band Impetuous Ritual released an album entitled Blight Upon Martyred Sentience through Profound Lore Records on June 16th 2017. Bane Of Europe was a live rehearsal on cassette in 2019, which was taped as a live rehearsal for the Ritual Ascension 2019 tour with Ascended Dead, which was then re-released on vinyl by Iron Bonehead in 2020. Then there was a European tour with Portal in 2025 with which the band shared members.
