History & Biography
There were only one dozen bands called Impurity on the metal scene so Damnation figured it was a better bet - there were two dozen bands called Damnation - and so the name changed in 2022 after one year under the former monicker. The 2022 demo was called Forever Lifeless. Drummers Herman Pehrson and David Rosenberg came and went. The album's name was not very different and carried over the Life Of Horrors song.

Sweden-based death metal band Impurity had an album, called The Eternal Sleep, through Hammerheart Records in March 2025. It was recorded by Tomas Skogsberg at Sunlight Studio and mastered by Dan Swano.
