History & Biography
The band was founded by guitarist Diego in the year 2000 and released Demo 2001 and its follow-up Ascend From The Underworld of 2005. A debut full-length came in late 2008. It was named Converging Ages. Ancient Horror Unleashed was a live record. A live demo was 2020's Live Antiquity. Carlos Fuentes switched to drums for the final album. The man is also a prolific sound engineer who had tapped much of the band's own material. The 2022 album was dedicated to Francisco Coloane who had won the Chilean National Prize for literature in 1964.

25 years after formation, Chile-based Inanna decided to disband in 2025. Alejandro Cruz was the more recent singer for the band. The group was a diverse act with sounds oscillating between death metal and progressive music. While the band's line-up had been stable, all members participated in multiple projects, which may explain the meagre output.

Inanna is an ancient Mesopotamian goddess associated with love and sex.
