History & Biography The members’ association dates back to late '80s. Pete Godfrey and Tony Marshall were both in different Manchester rock acts. Tony Marshall’s name was mentioned when Pete was attempting to put together a band around 1991 and they met up and rehearsed somewhere in Eccles, which is near Manchester. Nothing came out of it. Godfrey gravitated to pop while Marshall was working for the Firefest shows. It was years later that the guys would get together and begin writing. Marshall recruited Newdeck. The latter man was in his own band and owned a studio. One of the band’s songs was called Church Of Rock An’ Roll and used for Firefest X. Out of this came the band’s name, In Faith.
UK’s In Faith will release its debut full-length, There's A Storm Coming, on October 24th through Rocktopia Records. The album contains 11 tracks, produced and mixed by Pete Newdeck. Mastering was completed by Harem Scarem’s Harry Hess at Vespa Studio in Canada. Spiritual Beast picked up the record for Japan.
