History & Biography
This Manchester-based band was formed in 2006 after the break-up of Age Of Suffering. The members added drummer Jeffs and adopted a new monicker. Grindethic featured the band on a 2007 split with Crepitation and Kastrated. 2009 brought an album called Surpassing The Boundaries of Human Suffering through Siege Of Amida Records. The band issued one album on Century Media in 2015 through the label’s partnership with Siege Of Amida Records. Unique Leader signed Ingested from Great Britain in 2016. The band was to release its as-yet-untitled fourth full-length later that year.

Dom Grimard was a guest bassist for the 2020 album. Stinking Cesspool Of Liquified Human Remnants was a 2021 EP containing the tracks from an earlier compilation appearance, namely North-West Slam Fest from 2007. The Surreption II from 2021 was issued through Unique Leader and was a self-cover version record obviously. Sam Yates departed in 2021. UK-based death metal group Ingested, which was signed to Metal Blade now, Enterprise Earth, Signs Of The Swarm and Great American Ghost were touring the USA in support of Fit For An Autopsy in the winter of 2022. Cannibal Corpse, Dark Funeral, Ingested and Stormruler announced a tour of Europe for March and April 2023. UK death metallers Ingested had a video for the song Pantheon, which was taken from the band's 2024 full-length, The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams. The record included a guest appearance by Chimaira's Mark Hunter who provided guest vocals for the track In Nothingness. Ingested was to embark on a European headlining tour with Fallujah, Vulvodynia and Mélancolia. A follow-up tour was with Fleshgod Apocalypse, Shadow Of Intent and The Zenith Passage.
