History & Biography
This extreme fantasy metal band was founded in Aarhus, Denmark in 2012. The members had known each other since their teen years and even shared bands. Kim and Thor had discussed starting a band since 2006. The concept was to have a black metal act at first, but this changed gradually. The group’s monicker was inspired by a town in Massachusetts in the H.P. Lovecraft story The Shadow Over Innsmouth, which became the band’s debut album in 2014. It was saddled with a drum machine. Thor was inflicted with focal dystonia.Innsmouth did not climb the stage and remained a studio act.

Thor Sejersen Riis had a record called The Eternal Now through Lion Music in 2023. He had been writing and demoing his ‘80s-oriented material since 2010.
