History & Biography The band was founded as Guillotina in 1988 and changed its monicker in 1990 in Colombia. Early demos were called Anxious Death (1990) and Forever Under (1993). The former featured bassist Cesar Santa although Dagon would pick up the bass too. Dagon relocated to the United States Of America, being half American, and relaunched the band. Incubus joined on drums. Defiled Records released an EP called Incense Of Rest in 1996. Most of this material would be rereleased, of course, by a label, in this case Sylphorium Records.
The debut album arrived in 1998. A bassist was present here, but would be gone soon. The 2004 record appeared on the NSBM label, No Colours. Still, the band would switch to Season Of Mist in less than ten years. The band played at Steelfest in Finland in 2012. The act toured Europe in the summer of 2015 and again in 2016 including appearing at Jalometalli festival. In the meantime, Dagon would also spend time in 88MM, a Nazi electronica band. Undeterred, Mayhem took Inquisition on tour in North America in 2017. The band was barred from entering Canada nonetheless. Dagon would be charged with storing child pornography and attempting to erase them, thus obstructing an investigation in 2009. The band announced a tour with Uada and Volahn instead. The band announced a tour with Septicflesh for Europe next. The charges were stayed, but resurrected in 2018 upon which the band’s tour with Satyricon and deal with Season Of Mist were axed. As such, the kind man and band were 1- involved with child pornography, 2- a Nazi label, 3- Nazi ideology and 4- an ambient electronic side-project. Demonic Ritual in Unholy Blackness (recorded in Italy in 2010) and Bloodshed Across Guatemala (recorded in 2017) are live albums.
Agonia Records signed the band in 2020. Label-mates Inquisition and Demonical announced a tour in Europe for April 2024.
