History & Biography
Internal Decay was formed in 1987 and issued the Demo ’91 two years later. This garnered the band a deal with Euro Records. A forgotten Dream was recorded at Sunlight Studio. Maturna left the band after the album’s release. M. Hagelin was the female singer. A keyboardist came and went.

Amusingly, Internal Decay announced a new EP, called Fires Of The Forgotten, through Hammerheart Records for early 2026. It was the band's first new material in more than 30 years! Guitarist Micke also joined A Canorous Quintet. Drummer Thomas Sjöblom had recently rejoined and subsequently departed again, but fact was that this band was a bunch of newcomers with singer Kim Blomkvist and guitarist Micke.
