History & Biography
Tokyo’s Intestine Baalism was formed in 1991 as a thrash metal act by Kakuzaki Seiji and Ohkouchi Takeshi, which was ostensibly named after a Sumerian God. The band issued a demo called The Energumenus in 1994, switched to death metal and signed with Spain’s Repulse Records. A CD appeared in February of 1997 and the band was also heard on the Repulsive Assault 2 compilation in the same year. The band went into silent mode until reappearing on Blackend with a revamped line-up. Album number two was issued in 2003, but had been in the can for three years. Blackend re-issued the band’s debut in 2003.

Kakuzaki is a sound engineer. Kenji's brother Nonaka Takashi was in Defiled.
