History & Biography This Invictus was founded by the Seki brothers in Japan in 2015. Obliteration Records of Japan issued a split release for the band and South Korea's Fecundation. This allowed the band to appear live in South Korea. The group was in Thailand and China too. The group toured in Japan as openers for Carnation in 2019. The bands also stopped at the Asakusa Deathfest. The next release had to wait until 2020 however. The Catacombs Of Fear was a full-length released in January. The act was scheduled to perform at the Sublime Terror Fest in the UK, but the show was cancelled due to the pandemic. The band went back to demo land with 2024's 火葬場の遺骸 and Togakushi Ritual. Regardless, the group opened for Rotting Christ in Taiwan.
Nagano, Japan-based death metal band Invictus would release a full-length album, called Nocturnal Visions, through Memento Mori/Me Saco Un Ojo Records on January 26, 2026. The trio's line-up had remained stable. The group was an organizer of Nagano Extreme '25 show in November. The band had opened for Left To Die in Thailand earlier in the year followed by a European tour with Malevolent Creation, Massacre and Deathbringer.
