History & Biography The act - sometimes stylized as I.See.Red - was founded in 2014 and released the As Hope Runs Dry demo in 2016. An album emerged in 2020. Guitarist Chris Savvakis abandoned the instrument in favour of vocals. Drummer Stratis Mastrantonas left in 2024. There was wholesale line-up changes with only guitarist Dimitris Kontorousis left standing.
Greece-based I See Red won the national Greek contest for Wacken in 2026 and was playing at the show that year. The group uploaded two new songs, We, The Void and Pestilent Breed following years of inactivity. The band was previously metalcore, but was then being advertised as melodic death metal. The latter track marked the band’s first new music in six years. The band's line-up had also changed.
Brazilian thrash metallers Claustrofobia issued an album called I See Red in 2009.
