History & Biography
Jinx was a heavy metal band formed in 1984. The band ended without a full-length. The act had existed as Service Compris ('Service Included') in the town of La Roche-Sur-Yon in Pays De La Loire for four years previously. Service Compris had a demo with original and cover versions of Thin Lizzy and Accept. The band issued an EP called Stand Up For Rock N Roll Power through Devil’s Records in 1986 and another, It was really the band's demo, which it had independently completed before handing over to the label. Success was not apparent and the bassist left prompting one guitarist to switch over. The line-up opened for Mama's Boys in France in 1988.

Rockin’ Band, through Swan Productions in 1988. Spring left before the end, was replaced by Claff Dundee until the dissolution in 1990 and Gevraise was a guest on the album of the metal super group Furioso. Riton died in 1992. Gervaise died in 2007.

No Remorse Records released a compilation of the band's music called Stand Up! (For Rock'n'Roll Power) in 2017.
