History & Biography
Juggernaut was formed in San Antonio, Texas in 1984 and immediately issued three demos. Dave McClain, who was with Sacred Reich later, was the drummer at first. The band appeared on The Metal Massacre compilation and signed to Metal Blade Records. Steve Cooper took over the vocals for Trouble Within. SA Slayer’s Bob Catlin had also joined on guitar for a period. The band moved to Dallas in the early 1990s before disbanding. Len Jarrell (Alias) sang for the band briefly. Singer Steve Cooper died on May 14th, 2006 in San Antonio, Texas hospital from complications attributed to kidney failure.

The band reformed in 2014 and counted earlier singer Harlan Glenn (a Los Angeles-based actor/film technician) as a member again. Guitarist Eddie Katilus left in 2017 and rejoined in 2021. In the meantime, the band was booked for a German concert at Keep it True 2019 in Germany. Metal Blade rereleased the two albums as a 2-disc compilation in 2019. Len Jarrell died in 2024.
