History & Biography
The metalcore/melodic death metal band was founded in 2010 and uploaded a song called Broken Lands in 2015. The band would later change its history to an incept date of 2015. A three-song demo was called Three Marks Of Dreams in 2016. The band jumped onto the 'collaboration' bandwagon in 2017. The band and a couple of dance and folk artists mixed music and called it Chthonic Dreams. Another demo was Sowing Storms. The act lost singer Lorenzo Gallo at this juncture.

Don't Close Your Eyes was the 2019 full-length. It was issued through Graziano Ciccarelli's imprint. Guitarist Vincenzo Mussolino left in 2021. The gradual change in the band's style towards melo-death was cited as the reason. The band was back to having one guitarist again therefore. Jumpscare organised its own Valle Caudina Metal Fest in 2021. The band picked up a couple of its own live recordings on the net and issued them as semi-official uploads next. This soon became a habit and the band began competing with Iron Maiden and Deep Purple for the sheer number of monthly live recordings. Bassist Oliver Tobyn and then Giulio Mirabella were deputising for concerts. Salvatore had relocated to Northern Italy for work. Italy-based melodic death metal band Jumpscare had a song and video called Call Of The Wild through Sepulchral Silence Distribution on 20.10.2026.

The Ciccarellis are brothers. The band lost its social media page to hacking in 2023 and established a new one.
