History & Biography Forget Kaamos! Kaamos Warriors was founded in 2018 and began productively releasing material quickly. Inverse Records, which was scooping up any and all Finnish bands, signed the act and released Ikuisen Talven Sarastus in 2019. Crowned With Black had been on Inverse Records. Sarastus meant 'dawn' in Finnish. The band was composed of singer and guitarist Mikko Ojala and guitarist Jani Moilanen. The act programmed a drum machine. The same year brought Shadows Of Northern Chaos. Jyri Moilanen was on bass. The album was supported through a video for the song Chaos & Mayhem whose budget was somewhere between zero and the cost of half a chocolate bar.
Kirous was a demo in 2020. The band tried its hand at more video clips. Spirit From The Void was back on Inverse. Finland-based black metal band Kaamos Warriors had a video for the song Seita, which was taken from the group’s 2025 full-length due through Inverse Records out later that year. Mikko's wife, Inka Ojala, was credited with percussion. She too was in the goth band Dark The Suns, which was on… Inverse Records.
Kaamos means 'polar night' in Finnish.
