History & Biography
This ambient solo act was founded in August 2006 and released Von Den Winden Der Sehnsucht in 2008. AOP Records would eventually reissue it. The man reported an early demo was left abandoned. The act began playing live between 2010 and 2014, but went on concert hiatus for the subsequent four years as members were not available. Shows included Heidenwahn Festival in 2010 and Northern Lights Festival in Austria in 2011. The follow-up was 2010's Von Den Winden Der Sehnsucht #2. Scherben was a 2011 EP. The 2012 EP Zu Asche was said to feature older music. Weltenasche was the first release of the act to appear on AOP Records. Still, 2018's Karg Unplugged was a demo. The band continued releasing music at a brisk pace despite being in multiple projects. Nevertheless, the sole member recruited members in 2018 having utilized concert musicians in the past. V. Wahntraum was in Harakiri For The Sky and also added the company of drummer Färber in that act. In addition to Traktat, the band also uploaded songs called Abbitte and Lorazepam in 2020. The band was billed at the War Against War Festival in Germany in 2023.

Austria-based black metal act Karg uploaded a song called Findling from its Marodeur album. The record is available through AOP Records in April 2025.

The band's name means 'barren' in German. The man has reported being depressed and on drugs in the past. There has been emphasis on being "post rock."
