History & Biography
Keops was founded in 1995 or 1996. The band recorded a demo in English and travelled to Italy in 1998 to play at the Ritmi Globali Europei festival, where it won the first prize in the band category. The group played several gigs in Italy before its female singer Dubravka Alebić left. The new singer Toni Šuperina joined and the band switched to Croatian. A demo called Zovem Tvoje Ime ('Calling Your Name') followed. The band played live locally, but it was only 2010 when a recording was completed. Croatia Records issued the Kako Da Te Prebolim album. The band's self-titled album arrived in 2012. Singer Toni Šuperina left after 13 years of service in 2016. The band marched forward, but was not particularly productive. Still, Road To Perdition had the band signed to SPV. Keyboardist Mirjana Mičetić, the sister of mainstay guitarist Bruno, left in 2019. The band was booked for Croatia's Valhalla Festival in 2019.

The band opened for Therion in 2024. Female singer Vana Beara joined in 2025. Croatia-based heavy metal group Keops had a music video for the song Breath Of Fire, which was taken from the Bitter Story For Humanity album. It was issued through SPV in May of 2026. Keops was booked for The Rock House Open Air in the summer of 2026.
