History & Biography
Bayonne’s Killers has had enough line-up changes in its 25-year career to officially qualify as a Swedish metal band. The one constant has been guitarist-turned-singer/guitarist Dolheguy. The band gained some fame and promotion in the metal scene with its first two albums, but when the members (minus Dolheguy) packed up and left to form Titan the band’s future was cast in doubt. Instead, unlike contemporaries like Trust, Vulcain and ADX the band has forged on one way or the other.
Killers played at Wacken in 1999 and two years later even issued an English album - an adaptation of its previous release. Drummer Nicko died as a consequence of a motorcycle crash in 2001. A DVD appeared in 2004 featuring video clips and footage from the aforementioned Wacken appearance.
