History & Biography Kings Of Modesty goes all the way back to the year 1994 when the band was formed by guitarist Samuel Hjelt and drummer Rane Simoinen. The two asked their friend Henkka Tuura to play bass and Samuel’s older brother Mikael to play keyboards. The group was called Face Of Modesty at this time. Kings Of Modesty was reborn in 2006 when Flinck joined in 2006 and garnered comparisons to Queensrÿche and Kamelot. The band’s self-titled demo of 2007 had four tracks. The debut album appeared in September of 2009. The album was mixed by Leverage guitar man Torsti Spoof and Jari Mikkola at the Studio Audio and mastered at Finnvox Studio by Mika Jussila.
Hjelt had left Ancara in 2008. Brother Firetribe is a side-project of Nightwish guitarist Emppu Vuorinen. Leverage singer Pekka Heino is also a member of Brother Firetribe.
