History & Biography
The band came together in 2015, although the wording is wrong here because line-up changes ensued immediately. Two members, who were married, had come from the hard rock act Firebrand Super Rock. The 2015 demo was called Shoulders Of Giants. The line-up was singer Laura, guitarist Jamie, bassist Simon and drummer Tam Dickson. The act was invited to The Malta Doom Festival in 2017. Listenable Records signed the band and issued Under The Mountain to begin 2018. Guitarist Glchrist recorded the album. Lyle was on drums now. Bassist Joe Turner had come and gone. Rory Lee joined for the second record. The act was billed at Dutch Doom Days XVIII in 2019. The band uploaded a couple of cover versions in 2021 to kill time before the 2022 Folklore, Riffs And Legends Tour in Northern Europe in April 2022. Green Lung was supported by King Witch. The band was left drummerless soon however. Lyle had left in the middle of 2022. The band simultaneously announced it would opt out of further activities for the second half of 2022 and, therefore, cancelled its appearance at Riffolution Festival 2022.
Edinburgh, Scotland-based doom metal band King Witch released an album called III through Listenable Records on 27.07.2025. There was a video for the song Swarming Flies.
