History & Biography
Korum was a Paris, France deathcore band which issued a five-song demo called Shivering in 2001 of which 300 were printed. The band was formed in 1999 by Boban and Kriss who had idled together before. A debut was recorded in five days in December of 2001 and issued six months later. The album was supported through shows with The Haunted, Mastodon, Vile and others. The band recorded and released a second album in 2003, but soon was faced with the departure of guitarist Nicolas and drummer Boban. The two were replaced with three members, namely guitar players Florent Baujard and Ivan Sikic (Abyssal Suffering and formerly of Kaos) and drummer Tarik Zulficar. Gaël Feret would replace the latter man. Coudret joined drummer Tomic in No Return. Members like singer Olivier Delecroix left and the band was no more.
