History & Biography
Krilloan started out as a solo project by Klas Holmgren in 2020. The vision, according to the band, was to write songs in the same spirit as the melodic power metal and heavy metal bands of the late ‘90s and early 2000s: High speed, soaring guitar solos, thundering drums and no keyboard solos. The project featured members from all over the world with Klas and friend Steve Brockmann as the core one year later.

Krilloan joined forces with Stormwarrior main man Lars Ramcke and Piet Sielck of Iron Savior who agreed to mix and master the band’s recording. The Stories Of Times Forgotten EP was issued by Stormspell in May 2021. Klas was also sitting on the stool. Christoph Brandes arrived as the act's drummer in 2022. The first full-length, Emperor Rising, arrived at the very end of 2022. Return Of The Heralds was slated for September 2024. The themes further revolved around swords and sorcery.
