Reviews KRYOBURN - ENIGMATIC EXISTENCE - CANDLELIGHT
As early as the opener, Transience, one immediately gets the feeling that the songs on Enigmatic Existence are stretched to make this a 50-minute album as every song, even at four or five minutes long, seems to go on and on. Borrowing many elements from Meshuggah, Mnemic, Fear Factory, Nine Inch Nails and others Kryoburn utilize the occasional clean vocals, breaks and synthesizers and basically just repeat the same sound over and over. The faster Self Dead, Atman Project and De Animation inject a heavier edge but aren’t convincing enough to rescue this release. - Anna Tergel
