History & Biography
The act was founded in Piedmont in northwest Italy in 2015 and issued a song called Soil in 2016. A LP called Mea Maxima Culpa was released through Toten Schwan Records in 2017. It contained three tracks. It was back to demoland with 2019’s Ante Lucem Ac Tenebras.

The ‘guilty’ Doom/noise band Lacolpa uploaded a song called Larva I in Q4 2023. Per the press release it, “is a stream of consciousness type of experiment brought to light by sessions of cathartic improvisations.” In Absentia Lucis ('In Absence Of Light') was the third full-length album by the band, which was being compared to Abruptum now, which was released on December 19th, 2024.
