History & Biography
Presumably named after an antagonistic alligator from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Leatherhead the heavy metal band (or rather "horror speed metal band"), with a guitarist called Mr. Metalios, was founded in early 2022. Guitarist George "Dimator" Dimitrakakis (Cult Of Orpist) did not stay long. The group was invited to open for Grave Digger and Mystic Prophecy at the Golden R. Festival in 2023. The act was also billed at Athens Extreme Festival in 2023. No Remorse Records released the band's debut album in late 2024. Leatherhead was billed at the MammothFest in Greece in late 2025

Larissa, Greece-based Leatherhead had a full-length called Violent Horror Stories through No Remorse Records on 13.02.2026. It was produced by the band and George Kougioumtzoglou. Zachos Karabasis had left and was replaced by Jim Komninos. The group had a gig with Darklon and Stugian to begin 2026.
