History & Biography The Stoke, UK-based NWOBHM band was founded in 1980 and issued a live Demo 1981. Bassist Rob Moseley left in 1983 and was replaced by Collier. Guitarist Paul Ibbs left in 1982 and Tim Blackwood was off in 1984. Bullet Records issued a single called Fast Bikes in 1983. There were 2,000 copies pressed and the band toured the UK with label-mates Pretty Maids. Bullet also issued the Breaking Strain EP in 1984. The band broke up in 1985 and Collier was in Rogue Male.
Le griffe means ‘claw’ in French. Tim Blackwood became a sculpture artist.
