History & Biography
The heavy metal act was founded by Leo and Viktor in Stockholm in 2011 and released a demo called Demo 2012. Drummer Leo played guitar and bass to start and Jesper Nyrelius (Exekutor alongside guitarist Frick) was the drummer. The band sang in both English and Swedish like Helvetets Port before them. That band’s label, High Roller Records, also picked up Lethal Steel and released a record to begin 2016. This did fairly well and garnered a positive reaction on the scene. The album was recorded with Olof Wikstrand from Enforcer, but was delayed due to the engineer’s schedule and Jonte (later to join Enforcer) breaking his hand. Lethal Steel was billed at Hell Over Hammaburg 2016. In the meantime, bassist Sebastian Lindbom (Elimination) left the fold. The act’s guitarists had left in 2017 and 2019 and were replaced. Running From The Dawn was a 2020 EP and the band became inactive although the group was booked for Storm Crusher Festival 2022 and Sweden’s The Abyss Festival 2022. Singer Gustafsson joined Watcher in 2024.
