History & Biography
The Italy-based band with a focus on ancient Greece was founded by Parise in 2009. Next in was singer Castelli. A full line-up came together in 2011 including former Walhalla guitarist Mattia Belloli. Omega was the 2013 demo. The band had a piano player called Giuliano Canu. A 2015 demo was called The Throne. This demo referenced the Egyptian queen Hatshepsut. Limb Music issued the group’s debut in the spring of 2017. Bassist Poli left in 2018.

Lionsoul had a single called Wailing In Red ahead of its A Pledge To Darkness album, which was out through Rockshots Records on April 29th. The band was described as heavy metal, but incorporated thrashy, industrial and pop synth sounds. Francesco Pedrini left in 2025. Jack Stanley of Grimotts joined instead. Former Xeneris man Stefano Livieri joined on drums in 2025. The band played live sporadically.
