History & Biography
Lord Of Pagathorn began playing black metal in Helsinki in 1992. Despite tapes in 1993 and 1994 (The Chaos Spirit Among Us) the efforts went nowhere and the band disappeared in 1995. The band featured drummer Pete Uutela in these years. The group returned in 2010 and issued a demo called Msilihporcen. Woodcut signed the band and an 7”, called Shine Through My Scars, Morning Star!, appeared in 2012.

Lord Of Pagathorn would issue Nekros Philia on October 31st through Woodcut Records. It was recorded in 2013 in Drophammer Studio. Another 'Philia' album came in 2018. Markus Tuonenjoki departed. Daimono Philia was recorded in 2016 and 2017. Skrubb moved from bass to second guitar. Age Of Curse was recorded at the onset of the pandemic in 2020. The band closed 2023 by playing Turku Saatanalle XI. The group announced a forthcoming album through Woodcut at the beginning of 2024.
