History & Biography
Lords Of Black is one of those projects where everyone is involved in as many side-projects as possible and Frontiers Records loves to assemble and release. This side-project was founded in 2014. A 2014 demo was simply called Lords Of Black. It was produced by Roland Grapow. The collaboration would not end there. Romero, in the meanwhile, would also begin fronting a reconstituted Rainbow in 2015. Frontiers Records found the band and released II in early 2016. There were several videos including one for the song Cry No More, which was a tribute to Thin Lizzy. The band toured with Axel Rudi Pell in 2016. Furthermore, the band was booked for Loud Park 2016 in Japan. Icons Of The New Days introduced Dani Criado. The group played at Wacken in 2017 and was billed for ProgPower USA 2017. Ronnie Romero briefly left in 2019, the band picked up another mike-for-hire called Dino Jelusić followed by the Argentinian Diego Valdez, but the Chilean Romero returned. The band was “very excited” that Valdez had joined. Alchemy Of Souls (Part I) introduced Jo Nunez.

Lords Of Black had a video for the song Can We Be Heroes Again in 2024. It was taken from the Mechanics Of Predacity album, which was released through Frontiers Music. The album was produced by Tony Hernando with mixing and mastering by Roland Grapow.
