History & Biography
The doom metal band was founded in late 2014. The monicker was inspired by a character from Ghostbusters II called Lord Vigo Von Homburg Deutschendorf who was a tyrant and warlock. The members, including two brothers, were obviously influenced by American culture and picked up Ghostbusters-related pseudonyms. The members concocted a doom band, but were actually members of hard rock or pop bands before.

Under Carpathian Sun was a 2015 demo. It became the demo of the month in Rock Hard magazine. This was also the title for the expanded debut album of 2016. The group was billed for Hammer Of Doom festival and Germany's Storm Crusher Festival in 2016. Further festival bookings were for Hell Over Hammaburg in 2019. The act also opened for Satan in Germany in 2018. Danse De Noir had the band switch to High Roller Records. We Shall Overcome was following up on the narrative of Rush's 2012. The group was booked for Bang Your Head Festival in 2023. High Roller Records would release Walk The Shadows by Lord Vigo in May 2025.

The act utilised members like guitarist Nunzio Scoleri, bassist Zuul and drummer Ivo Shandor for concerts. The Beautiful Dead is a pop band.
