History & Biography This power metal band was founded in 1998 and soon (i.e. 11 years later) issued a demo called The Aftermath. The debut album would arrive also eleven years later. New York-based Lost Legacy was touring with Whiplash, Doro and Flotsam And Jetsam in April and May in support of its new album In The Name Of Freedom, which was being released through Pure Steel Records on 20.03.2020. Then COVID-19 hit. Regardless, the songs were jingoistic and supported war and the military industrial complex in the name of 9/11 (not the CIA-lead US attack on democracy in Chile). The band contacted Metallian to assert that it was against war and had interviewed experienced combatants to understand the situations they find themselves in. Elsewhere, the band had earlier opened for Metal Church in May 2019.
Guitarists Winston Omar Mejia and Angel Vega left before the debut album. Piano man Keith James also took off. Jochen Witllinger was replaced by Matt Meyers. Drummer AJ K also joined in 2022. Bassist Matt Meyers and drummer AJ K. joined on drums in 2022. Guitarist Joey Berkowitz (of cover band Sinner) joined the band in 2024. His first gig was the band opening for Joe Stump. The band was returning to California for the first time in nine years in 2026. There was a concert opening for Metal Allegiance and a second show.
