History & Biography There was once a Canadian band with the same name, but the much younger Finns were formed in 2010. Founded in early 2010 in Jyväskylä by Samy Elbanna the band of teenagers issued a demo called Lost Society in 2011 as a three-piece. The Finnish thrash metal band would release its album, Fast Loud Death, on March 15th, 2013 through Nuclear Blast Records. The album was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios. Lesonen was now part of the act. The group had a video for the songs Kill and Thrash All Over You.
Lost Society would release a new album, Terror Hungry, on April 4th through Nuclear Blast Records. It was produced by Nino Laurenne (Amorphis, Ensiferum, Lordi, etc.) at Sonic Pump studio. Children Of Bodom would tour North America with Carach Angren, Lost Society, Uncured in autumn of 2017.
The band issued No Absolution independently in 2020. Ossi Paananen left. Blind Channel and Lost Society announced European concerts for 2022. Finland-based Lost Society had an album called If The Sky Came Down through Nuclear Blast in late 2022.
