History & Biography
Lotus was a Gothenburg, Sweden melodic hard rock band. The band was formed out of the ashes of Fruitcake. The group managed to recruit former Thin Lizzy and Motörhead guitarist Brian Robertson to tour with it and to subsequently heavily contribute to the third album. Quartet Conspiracy also featured Europe and solo artist John Norum. Complete Fruitage was a 2000 compilation. A 2001 mini-CD was called Roots. Predictably, this one featured a bunch of cover versions.

The band has had and still does an affinity for fruits and flora.
