History & Biography
The band was founded as a side-project by George Emmanuel, the concert guitarist of Rotting Christ, and Nightfall bassist Stathis Ridis in 2013. Drummer George Dovolos was drafted and stayed for two years. Singer Marios Dupont completed the line-up and a debut record was released in 2015. Lucifer’s Child was introduced through appearances at Inferno festival, Blastfest and MetalGate Czech Deathfest. Stathis Ridis left in 2020 and in came Kostas Gerochristos in 2022, but George Emmanuel handled the bass in the interim. Brazilian veterans Mystifier and Lucifer's Child released a split through Agonia Records in 2022. It was called Under Satan's Wrath.

A tour dubbed Rites Of The Blood Moon Tour was cancelled due to rising costs and low advance ticket sales in 2022. Other acts that were due to participate were Äera, Waldgeflüster and Ereb Altor. The band played concerts in Turkey (with Izmir being cancelled), appeared at Karmøygeddon Metal Festival and was booked for Spetakkelfestivalen 2023 and Gothoom Open Air Fest 2023.

Lucifer's Child released its third full-length The Illuminant through Agonia Records on 28.03.2025. Kostas Gerochristos was on bass. There was a video for the song Ichor. Lucifer's Child was on the Ascensions Of Fire European tour with Servant, to begin 2026.

George owns Pentagram Studio in Athens, Greece, which the band utilizes. The band's monicker was inspired by the line "Come, come into my coven/And become Lucifer's child" from Mercyful Fate's song Into The Coven from the Melissa album of 1983.
