History & Biography
Lugnet origin dates back to 2009. Drummer Fredrik Jansson-Punkka met bassist Lennart ‘Z’ Zethzon at Sweden Rock Festival and the two discussed banding together to play music. The act was founded in 2012. The band was inspired by ‘70s’ heavy rock. Guitarists Bonden Jansson and Mackan Holten and singer Roger Solander were recruited in 2015. The self-titled debut featured a Metallian Towers' serf on the cover. The band appeared at Sweden Rock Festival in 2018. Sweden-based Lugnet had an album called Nightwalker through Pride & Joy Music on 25.01.2019. Micke Linder (formerly of Troubled Horse) joined on guitar.

Lugnet means 'calm' in Swedish.
