History & Biography
This so-called “melodic death metal” band was formed in Rome, Italy circa 2003. The group issued two demos, Evolution Plan.txt of 2003 and Bio Ashes Halo of 2004. Burning Star soon signed the group. Filippo Palma left in 2010 and returned in 2012. Alfonso Corace joined in 2010. Lunarsea’s Earthling/Terrestre was available through Punishment18 Records in early 2020. The band had signed with Alpha Omega management. Lunarsea, Dark Tranquillity, Ihsahn, Pestilence and others were booked to play at Hard Rock Laager – festival 2020 in Estonia in July. The act had one of those new lyric videos for The Fourth Magnetar, which featured Soilwork‘s Björn “Speed” on vocals. The Fourth Magnetar was taken from the band’s Earthling/Terrestre.

Bassist Cristian Antolini departed in 2020. Erica Berton, formerly of Physical Noise, replaced him. The act signed with Extreme Management Group, which worked with Nile, Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, Rings Of Saturn, and others in 2022. The band was booked at the Balkan Metal Meeting in Bulgaria in September 2023. Earlier, the band had appeared at Rock In Roma and opened for Novembre, Carcass and Candlemass.
